WHY I WROTE THIS POEM.–
I wrote this poem, “Numbness,” to express the overwhelming and mixed emotions you experienced when you encountered someone who deeply affected you. The poem captures the intense feelings of love, confusion, and surrealism that accompanied this moment. It reflects the impact this person had on you, rendering you numb and lost in thoughts, yet feeling a sense of powerful connection and silent emotion. The repeated imagery and emotions convey the profound effect of this encounter on your inner world
